Fixing image header

I’d love to be able to select the part of my image that will be visible to visitors to my website. Sometimes the image is too large and doesn’t fit the required size for the header.

Other sites let you drag or crop the area you want to be visible on your profile (I’ve attached some example images from DeviantArt).

Would it be possible to have a feature like that?

Changing text alignment

Maybe it’s just a quirk of mine, but I like to see text justified. I like having some elements centered or right-aligned to play with what I want to say and how I say it.

I know this feature is available for buttons. It would be great to have it for text as well!

Manually modify the heading hierarchy

Just like in Word, I’d love to be able to edit headings visually and quickly without having to struggle with tabs that don’t work or fiddle with how to align them in the text’s gray area.

I think this would greatly improve the user experience for anyone who needs to create a lot of subheadings in their text.

Organize bookmarks

I'd like to be able to organize my bookmarks:

Alphabetically
In any order I like. By dragging each one to the desired position.

It’s not really an issue per se, but I have to say the mix of sans serif headers and serif body text feels a bit jarring to me. I’m not a huge fan of the contrast it creates.

Create an aesthetic for my own website

I know that Seed Hypermedia’s color palette is green, but, as was mentioned a few weeks ago at one of the meetings, it would be really cool if each user could create their own page aesthetic. In other words, to customize the color palette of own sites.

Conversation as an unity

When you click on any comment or reply, a single view of the entire conversation opens, showing:

Instead of indentation, we use tags such as:

→ to María
→ to Carlos (regarding X content)

Each message clearly shows who it is responding to, but the conversation is read chronologically from top to bottom.

Then, we should eliminate the need to expand/collapse threads to follow a discussion. Loss of context ("What was this responding to?").

Seeing the notifications on each profile

When I click on my profile, I'd love to see how many notifications I have in each account I have. It could be very useful in order to prioritize in which account I'll be that day.
